- נְפִיצָהf. (נָפַץ) shattering. Y.Orl.I, 60d bot. (read:) היא עשייה היא הקמה היא שבירה היא נ׳ (some ed. נְתִיצָה) ‘making an idol is the same as putting up, ‘breaking the same as shattering (v. Y.Ab. Zar. IV, 44a).
